Why change the gel?

One is to prevent the water tank of the unit from freezing and expanding in winter, and the other is to cool the engine. When the engine is running, the effect of antifreeze as circulating cooling liquid is obvious.

What kind of exchange solution to choose?

Generally speaking, the freezing point of the selected antifreeze should be 10 ℃ lower than the local low temperature as far as possible, and more spare points should be reserved to prevent sudden large temperature drop at some time. For example, in Suzhou and Shanghai, the lower temperature in winter is about - 10 ℃, so use antifreeze with freezing point of - 25 ℃. If the freezing point of - 35 ℃ antifreeze, then the price will certainly be higher, not cost-effective.

What problems should be paid attention to?

1. In winter, please use suitable antifreeze solution, that is - 40 ℃ ethylene glycol antifreeze, so as to avoid sand hole leakage caused by corrosion of heat pipe

2. Open the cover under the hot state, first slowly loosen the cover, and then open the cover after all the steam is discharged, so as to avoid scalding

3. Replace the antifreeze regularly and prevent leakage when adding. The antifreeze is red, green and blue. It is easy to find the leakage. Once it is found, dry the leakage and check the leakage

4. Different brands of antifreeze should not be mixed. The antifreeze specified by the manufacturer must be added, otherwise it will cause chemical reaction and corrode the unit

5. The radiator should be located in an open ventilation space, and the dust attached to the radiator should be cleaned regularly
